Travelling non-stop for a month is always going to have it’s highs and lows. Overall, we had an amazing month in Indonesia and it’s definitely somewhere I’d jump at the chance to go back to. This wouldn’t be a personal blog if I didn’t share with you the bits that went wrong so that you can (hopefully) avoid them!
If you’re ever in Bali, you should put Ubud on your list of places to visit. Surrounded with lush green paddy fields, there’s lots to do here, take a look. 1. Visit the famous rice paddies at Tegalalang Spend an hour or so wandering around here. Visitors can climb to the very top to see rice paddies all around.
In June I will be travelling around Indonesia for a month. Last Summer I was lucky enough to spend three weeks in Thailand and Laos where I met so many people who raved about Indonesia. I’m the sort of person who would spend my last penny on travelling so I don’t take much persuading before I am booking a flight to the next exotic place. So far all we have booked is a return flight to Bangkok so I have been scouring the internet for the best travel blogs on where to visit. I’ve heard that the Gili islands are beautiful and the scuba diving is fantastic, they’re definitely top of my list at the moment.
