I rarely go to a new restaurant without TripAdvirsoring it first nowadays. Travel websites are taking over the old fashioned guidebook and it’s clear to see why with such a wealth of information available.
Below is a list of weird and wonderful travel websites you might want to take a lot at whilst planning your trip away.
1. Ever been on a plane and wish you had known the seat you picked was right next to the loo? seatguru.com has your problems solved. Put in your flight number, airline and the date you’re flying and you can see ratings on each seat!
2. If you’re travelling on a tight budget and are planning on spending a night in the airport before or in between flights then you might want to check out sleepinginairports.net. It has a guide for just about any airport worldwide and how comfortable they are to sleep in. Weird but handy.
3. Staying in a floating lodge or a radio tower might not appeal to everyone, but if you’re looking to stay somewhere a bit special then uniqhotels.com has it covered.
4. Love the idea of camping but hate the reality? glampinghub.com have everything from yurts in Greece to tree houses in Italy. Sounds like my idea of camping.
